Information we collect

• Account details — your email address, business name, and any mobile numbers you choose to add.
• Receipts — the receipt emails you forward, photos you text or upload, and the details we read from them (merchant, date, amounts, line items, category).
• Usage — basic technical information needed to operate the service securely.

How receipts reach us

You can forward receipt emails to your personal ReceiptDrawer address, text a photo to our number, or upload a photo or PDF in the app. To read a receipt, its contents are sent to our AI processing provider, which extracts the details and returns them to your account.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide the service: to capture, read, categorize, and organize your receipts, and to send you transactional confirmations (for example, a reply confirming a texted receipt was received). We do not use your data for advertising.

Text messaging

If you add a mobile number, we use it only to match receipts you text in and to send you transactional confirmations. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or by removing your number in your account settings. Message and data rates may apply.

Service providers we share data with

We rely on trusted providers strictly to operate the service — for hosting, database storage, inbound email handling, text messaging, and AI receipt reading. They process data only on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Your data is stored securely and is accessible only to you through your account. You can permanently delete your account, all receipts, and stored files at any time from Settings → Delete account. Doing so removes your data from our systems.
